Grandpa was born 12 Oct 1927 in Beaver, Utah and Grandma was born 3 Aug 1933 in Parowan, Utah. We have always lived in Beaver.
Both Grandpa and Grandma's favorite color is BLUE (including Beaver & BYU).
We were married Aug 14, 1950 at midnight in the Manti Temple 58 years ago on the 14th of Aug, 2008.
We have 8 children and spouses, 41 grandchildren with 17 of them married. Two of our granchildren, have passed on, Michelle Atkin age 8 and Wesley Howard Hinton who lived 30 hours. We have 31 great grandchildren. There are 3 more on the way (as far as we know), Tony & Emily Bradshaw Sept., 2008, Anthony & Emily White Nov. 2008, and Russell and Jenny Atkin Feb 2009. We have l07 with 3 coming.
We now have two missionaries serving, Christopher and Amelia White. Christopher is in Brazil and Amelia is in the MTc going to Portugal. We have had 32 (counting Mom and Dad) serve missions in our family so far.
Grandpa's favorite food is beef and potatoes and gravy ( He likes anything Grandma fixes and doesn't like to go to fast foods places or out to dinner very often. He soft soaps Grandma saying he would rather eat her peaches than go out to eat).
Grandma's favorite food is about anything. (especially if she doesn't have to prepare it). Oh she often likes her cooking better than when they go out to dinner except when visitiing their family. She really likes ice cream and she really loves candy but has been staying away from so many sweets.
We both love the Temples. We love to visit them when we go on trips. We have been in 20 Temples and love every one of them. We have loved our trips to Hawaii, Nauvoo, Kirtland Ohio, Palmyra, Yellowstone and Disneyland. We even have loved the trips to Bryces, Zion, Grand Canyon, California, Arizona Alaska, Michigan, New York, Missouri, Colorado, Virginia, Washington DC. and State of Washington.
Grandma really wants to see the Holy Land (the trip is being planned) and if they live long enough they want to see Mexico and the Book of Mormon places.
Our greatest joy is the birth of little ones and to see all the boys and girls go on missions and the Temple Marriages. It is a joy to be with our family.
We love our posterity and the good they do. "As I loved you". "Continue On", "Live the gospel", be "True to the Trust", "Return With Honor" and "Do It".
